OUT Film Festival 2025 is here, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back!
Inspired by the late Kawira Mwirichia, the 13th edition’s theme, "Penzi Letu ni Halisi" (Our Love is Real), is a testament to the love and space we create for each other through film. We celebrate our existence, our stories, and our resilience.
This year, we’ve curated a powerful selection of films that embrace the full spectrum of the queer community — offering diverse narratives from both local and international films from across Africa and the Global South. These are stories that are real, resonant, and deeply connected to our lived experiences.
